Speeed’s take
A 5.0 V10 in a saloon, available with a six-speed manual, and — for 1,200 cars — as a wagon. BMW's own period copy called it an emotional technology provider, which Speeed takes as the highest compliment available. The looks are debatable; the noise is not.
