Speeed’s take
The only entry here that did not fail on its merits. Built to satisfy a 1990 California mandate that Detroit sued the state over; when the mandate was weakened in 2003, GM disabled every remaining car, recalled them all and ground them into bits. Lease-only, never sold. People held funerals for theirs. You cannot buy one — the surviving cars are museum pieces, and the one they saw at the Petersen had been deliberately disabled.
“I love this. This is peak tech to me — you don't got to go through a bunch of screens. If this was operational, would you drive it around? 100%. I'd put it on BBS RSs.”
