The first GT3 RS, born in 2003 out of the least-loved 911 generation. Carbon ceramic brakes, polycarbonate windows, shock towers you could rotate to match the cup car's alignment — and a Nürburgring time four seconds quicker than the turbocharged GT2. Where the base 996 made you a nerd, the RS was a sensation immediately.
