Full-time four-wheel drive, solid axles, great ground clearance, and the legendarily unkillable 4.5 1FZ-FE straight six. They hold value like an asset. Two warnings: check for rust, check for blue smoke — these have bad head gaskets — and please do not cut the fenders up. Cut up a Cherokee instead.
